"Mike and I went to Colorado for the weekend, so he could meet my parents and ask my dad for my hand. Mike had the talk with my Dad, and then we all went to my sister's for dinner. After dinner, Mike and I were wrestling with my nieces and nephews. Mike is 6'7" and I'm only 5'3" so, there is quite a height difference. I jumped on his back, and he went to grab my foot and pull me through his legs upside down or something. I don't know exactly how it happend, but I kicked him and busted his lip open causing us to spend the next three hours in the emergency room so he could get it stitched up. While we were there he said, "It has been such a memorable day, I think I'm going to make it more memorable." He was going to propose with a ring, but it wasn't ready yet and the timing was perfect. He got down on one knee in the ER and proposed to me. I got the ring 5 days later at Upper Falls in Provo Canyon. I hope the ER isn't any indication of what are marriage is going to be like."
