One bride suggested hand-delivering the invitation, asking them to come to the temple but explaining that although they cannot be in the sealing room, you would love to have them see the temple and share in the moment. When guests arrive, an option would be to provide them with copies of Elder Packard's "The Holy Temple" or copies of the Ensign *temples issue* as they wait in the lobby. Perhaps have a family member or friend not involved in the sealing stay with your guests to answer any questions and help keep to the mood positive. It is very important when inviting friends and family to the temple that they understand they will be waiting in the lobby, not witnessing a ceremony. Merrilee Kenney from Orlando, Florida, had her bishop answer questions and talk with family and friends after the sealing while they waited for the couple to change.
