Now What?

Change your name on your Social Security card.
The bride should do this as soon as possible. It will be necessary when finding a job and as proof of marriage. Be sure to take your old Social Security card and a copy of your marriage license with you. (Note: The marriage license is not the certificate your receive from the temple.) Find the Social Security office nearest you.
