Such a Pretty Face
If you want your skin to be at its best, start a facial routine at least a month before the wedding, complete with cleanser, toner, exfoliator and moisturizer. Never, never, never try a new skin product the day before, no matter how wonderful it sounds. You might have an allergic reaction to the expensive mango-banana-ginger skin smoothie that your sister-in-law swears by. Four hours before you leave for the temple is not enough time for Cortisone-10 to heal the red rashes covering your neck.

Do not sunbathe or tan the week of your wedding. While a golden brown may set off your hair wonderfully, sunburn red just isn't your color. If you do burn, use a generous layer of Noxema to soothe the pain and take away redness.

Can't afford a hired professional for make-up? A week or so before the big day, have a make-over done at a department store cosmetics counter. Some brands will expect a purchase or fee for the service so make sure you ask before you make the appointment. Have the technician teach you how to apply the cosmetics as she does for the look you want. If the price of these cosmetics is still out of your price range, take a friend or sister with you and then head to the nearest drug store to match the colors in lower-cost beauty supplies.

Once your face is beautifully flawless, DO NOT TOUCH IT! Don't think this is a big deal? Ask the bride who left lipstick prints all over her dress from one dab at her lips. Also, make-up smudges easier than it fixes.
